Race in peace, Marco. Selamat jalan !!!

Minggu, 23 Oktober 2011  tepatnya pukul 16.56 waktu setempat  satu lagi dari bintang MOTO GP asal Italia Marco Simoncelli kembali menjadi korban kecelakaan di sirkuit Sepang Malaysia.  Simoncelli dinyatakan meninggal dunia  akibat cedera serius di bagian kepala, leher, dan dada.  Motor Simoncelli tergelincir miring ketika tengah menikung Ia kemudian terjatuh di tengah lintasan. Imbasnya, ia dihantam Colin Edwards  & Valentino Rossi yang tengah melaju di belakangnya.

Selamat Jalan Simoncelli, sebagai fans MOTO GP saya turut berduka cita & mengucapkan belasungkawa yang sedalam-dalamnya kepada keluarga Marco, teman-temannya, dan tim  Honda Gressini atas kepergiannya yang tragis. Semoga diterima disisi-Nya.

Marco Simoncelli Bio

23-year-old Marco enters his first season in MotoGP having won 12 250cc races in his last 2 seasons in the class and with the 2008 title in his trophy cabinet. Racing for San Carlo Honda Gresini he’s tipped to be a strong prospect for a factory ride in 2011 such is his meteoric rise through the sport. Marco won his first 125cc race in Jerez 2004 before making the jump to 250s soon after in 2006 before he stole the headlines in 2008 and 2009.
